Climate:
Venice offers a subtropical climate that is often humid in the summer months. The winters are cool and the summers are extremely warm. Summer in Venice is a great time to visit, August is the hottest month and you might find the climate a bit too sticky, so if you are thinking of a trip to Venice this summer, try booking your trip in the months of May, June or early July.

Venice offers visitors a wide array of activities, bike riding is popular as it allows you to take in some of the beautiful bridges located throughout the city. Fine cuisine is offered up at high end restaurants as well as street cafes and shopping is never a bore with storefronts on the bridges, throughout the city and some even along the waterways. St. Mark’s Basilica:
This beautiful church offers some of the city’s most unique architecture. The large domes and multi colored pillars welcome you into the massive building where you will find three additional museums within its doors. The rooftop allows visitors to overlook St. Marks Square and take in some great views of the entire city.
Doge’s Palace:
This is one of the most popular attractions in Venice and should not be missed. You will be able to walk across the famous bridge of Sighs and take in some amazing views.
The Golden Staircase:
Climb the beautifully crafted golden staircase to Doge’s apartment on the third floor of the palace where you can get a glimpse into how Doge lived by peering into his apartment and getting a glimpse at some of the personal artifacts that are still intact.
